A Krishi Mela was organized by the Maharashtra Bamboo Development Board at Jalgaon on 1st October, 2018. Around 1500 to 2000 farmers participated in this meeting. Also, many dignitaries attended the meeting and gave guidance on the importance of bamboo cultivation and its usefulness.
A conference/seminar was organized by the Board on 3rd February, 2019 at Hotel Radisson Blu, Nagpur on the use of bamboo in different sectors. Representatives of private sector and non-governmental organizations were present in the said conference.
Bamboo Investment Summit was organized on 19th February, 2019 at Bombay Stock Exchange, Mumbai to create awareness about bamboo among the general public and encourage entrepreneurs to invest more in this sector.
A one day seminar of bamboo construction was organized for the architects, Civil Engineers, Interior Designers & Product Designers on 8th February, 2020 at Nashik. For use of bamboo in construction for architects and engineers. Also 95 people participated in that seminar.
